Beijing has become the latest major city in China to allow guide dogs into subways, according to a newspaper report.
Under a new regulation that takes effect next month, the blind or visually impaired must produce a certificate before they can bring in the dogs, which must be muzzled, according to The Beijing News.
Staff should offer help when needed, the regulation said.
Other passengers are advised not to touch or play with the guide dogs, according to subway operators.
