Pet dog’s barking saved Ramen shop owners from Kaohsiung gas explosion

Ramen shop owners for 5 years Hu Xiuyan (42 years old) and Lin Hongcong (45 years old), recalls at around 8pm on the night of gas explosions, their dog starting barking hysterically, something which their pet has never done before.

Normally closing at 10pm, and without any customers that night, the owners then decided to close up early at 9pm. With the pet dog normally living on the second floor above the ramen shop, the owners left only to be alerted of the gas explosion from watching television.

The owners immediately rushed back to find their dog frightened from the loud explosion, and luckily only with partially burnt fur and one burnt paw.
